Our Services
Our curriculum at Halo Institute is meticulously crafted. Halo Institute provides 75 hours of instruction. This consists of 60 hours of Interactive Lectures, where students engage with theoretical concepts, and 15 hours of supervised Skills practice, allowing students to develop hands-on proficiency crucial for success in the field.
Our theoretical instruction is delivered at our 906 N Main St location, providing students with flexibility and accessibility. Students engage in real-time teacher interactions, dedicating 5 hours a day, 3 days a week, for a total of 60 hours of comprehensive learning. During these sessions, students participate in lectures, interactive presentations, and engaging group discussions, fostering a collaborative learning environment that enhances understanding and retention of crucial HHA concepts and skills.
Following successful completion of the theoretical assessment, Halo Institute's Home Health Aide Training Program includes a focused Skills session comprising 15 hours spread over three days. These hands-on practice training sessions are conducted in a simulated resident's room environment, meticulously designed to replicate real-world scenarios. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse Instructor, participants gain invaluable caregiving skills, including personal care, mobility assistance, vital signs monitoring, and safety protocols. This immersive learning experience not only reinforces theoretical knowledge but also instills confidence and proficiency essential for delivering high-quality care as a Home Health Aide.
